MONZA 06/05/2011 | RACE PREVIEW
The historic Monza circuit is one of the most famous on the race calendar. Set in the woodlands of Villa Reale Park, just above the town of Monza, north of Milan, the long straights and connecting chicanes make for one of the most exciting races of the year. The 5.8 kilometre stretch tests machine performance as the riders are on full throttle for a high percentage of the lap. The legendary Lesmo, Ascari and Parabolica turns set the scene for thrills and spills as riders constantly swap places throughout the race.
